uTouchPOS Dining Table Layout

In uTouchPOS Restaurant Software, you can edit the layout of the dining tables visible on the main screen to match your restaurant. To do so, you will open the “Dining Table Layout” located in the “Back Office”.

You can do so for the “Hall”, or main dining area, and/or for the “2nd Floor” if applicable. You will select the room you wish to edit using the drop down menu located at the upper right of the Dining Map window.

To remove an item from the screen, click on the picture of the item on the screen, and click “Delete”

To add an item to the layout, use the drop down menu at the right side of the screen to select Background, Properties or Dining Tables depending what you are trying to add. Select the appropriate item from the list that appears below the drop down menu.

The added item will show in the upper left corner. To move the item, simply click and drag to drop it in the right location on the screen.

To edit the name or number of a table, select it by clicking on it, and then click on “Set Name”. You will now enter the text into the “Input Text Bar” and click on “OK”. You will now see your edited name attached to the item on the screen.

Once you are satisfied with your changes, click on “Close” and the changes will be saved automatically. If necessary, click on “Hall” on the main screen to refresh the page to reflect your changes.

If you would like to change the size of the Hall/2nd Floor you will enter “Dining Room” through the “Back Office”, Enter the appropriate width and height, and click on
”Close”. If you would like to change the name of the Hall/2nd Floor you can do so through the same window by clicking in the appropriate column and editing the text.
